The mf may be unattractive. Not everyone may agree with his political choices. But the boy has always had bars. He is not a fckin mumble rapper but of course he has his moments and probably started the shit. He’s always had me hype since he was one of the Hot Boys. But he is a lyrical genius to me. Sure there are many others but he will forever be my favorite male rapper. I know, you’re thinking, thats sad. Yea idgaf. Anyways, his wordplay in so many of his albums and mixtapes have always got me and inspired me. A dude can rap Wayne verses to me and long as he got rhythm and flow, I’d be turned on instantly lmao. Wayne is just that good. I would name my fave songs by the man but thats at least a good 50-100 so I won’t even do it to ya. His art is like poetry to my ears... I’ve been a fan forever but I find his greatest years to be 1999-2013 and wasn’t that impressed 2014+. But Are you a fan of his flow/wordplay as well (even if not a fan of the man himself)? (If you not feeling his style you can say so but i will not tolerate Wayne bashing. I will ignore your opinion post.)

Since when TF is L'il Wayne good at wordplay? I remember he used to be the sh*tiest rapper 10-12 years ago. Him and Nicki Minaj. Even Drake had more respect than L'il Wayne; Drake! Hell, L'il Wayne was somewhere between Drake and Iggy Azalea! (LMAO! 😂) I remember we used to say back in Philly, " Only white girls listened to Wayne, Drake, and Nicki. They were the Suburb Rappers for Madison, Skye, and Ashley. " Them and Zoomers. Nobody over 30 would put on Wayne or Drake in their car! LOL! 😂  "♫ You ain't never made a list next to no Biggie, no Jay, next to Taylor Swift. And that Iggy ho, now you about to really blow! ♫"  Yeah, Wayne used to be hot trash! You know, before Mumble Rap became a thing and absolute f*ckin' TRASH like Migos, L'il Pump, Tekashi6Nine, and all those other trap trash losers came in. Yeah, compared to MODERN "hip hop," Wayne and even Nicki, aren't that bad. But that doesn't mean his wack-ass was ever good. To answer the question, yeah. Like an Oxford game, I got word play. I slap you with this eight-inch dictionary, all day. I'm better than half this mumble rappers, spitting "Gucci Gang." I ain't even a rapper, and I'll put the flame on L'il Wayne. These wack New York Knickers need to stop playing. They're can't do word play cause I can't even understand what they sayin'. Just remember; half of these dudes on Rhyme Zone tryin' to spit riffs. They ain't never been on a list next to Drake; next to Taylor Swift!

Of course I like little Wayne.. I bought that Lights Out album when I was in high school. The Carter and The Carter 2 were my early 20's! I also like him b/c he likes the GB Packers! lol And yes, these new rappers are horrible.

A milli is the only song I vividly remember, because I loved that song back then.. Even though, I used hated how vile the lyrics can sound, as I was a boy that mostly grew up listening to Christian music.. LOL.. I won't compare myself to another though, because I'm not a lyricist or a poet.. 😏

I liked a lot of 90s rap. Just not on my playlist or anything. I'm sure I like some of his stuff but don't know for sure what was his from what wasn't honestly. Rap is typically just not my go to but I do enjoy it when a friend plays it. I looked him up and agree he has good flow lol

I didn't like him or his music at first for whatever reason, then i saw a casual interview with him years later and then i started liking him. I judged him too quick initially.

His music is not my style, but i can see why people like his music. He has some songs that i like, mostly some of his older songs.

Yeah he's got a gift and thought is older is a little better and nothalgstic. I am always impressed when someone has bars with a nice and you can understand what they are saying like Snoop Dogg or Eminem. I hate mumble rap I just kinda feel it lazy and all they got is a beat. I wish I had a ounce of there creativity and I could join in some rap battles with some of my friends.
