Never got a tattoo before, but have a specific one in mind. What is my best option?

So my city's annual tattoo convention is coming up, and I am considering getting my first tattoo.

I want a specific drawing done by one of my favourite artists Micah Ulrich. Would it be wrong of me to go to the convention and tell the artist I want this tattoo done in Ulrich's style (not theirs)? Or should I go to a tattoo shop rather than the convention?

Attached is the tattoo I want. Hoping to get it on my forearm.

Don’t do it as it is out of fashion now. Pure skin is in. Metal piercing are in still but nose piercing are out ‼️

My opinion on best options. Don’t get one. With that one being all black and filled in. It will look like you arm or leg is dirty as you age!

I worked with a guy that had a sleeve tattoo and his arm always looked dirty!
