Why most movie stars believe they are untouchable?

I mean they are just as a human beings as the rest of us the mundane and ordinary people. We are aware of course they are wealthy, have a lavish powerful lifestyle, But they have 2 legs, 2 arms, one head, one set of ears and eyes just like the rest of us. They also endure personal and private problems, they also go through health, family issues, They were born by God`s grace, so just because they have money, power, fame they are different than us? Well remove all of that and Im sure they become an ordinary person period.

There are other people who are very wealthy, have a lavish life just like them, but they are not famous, they have a low profile life and behavelike a regular person.

I used to know a company chairman of the board some years ago, who we all knew he had money for sure. But if you see that guy you won't believe the guy was wealthy, he used to dress so simple. I mean maybe his brand clothes were pricey but you could not tell and he never was bragging he had money, even if we knew he had money. In general this guy behave simple towrads his subordinates. Of couse im sure that due to his status there were certain moments he was untouchable and respected for being a company Chairman of the Board and people had to know how interact with him, but he was simple toward other people.

Or fans are the ones to blame for putting these celebs in a high pedestal? Just beause we all enjoy their jobs they do for the entertainment of the regular and common"joes", cause I doubt the movie stars act for themselves they act for the audience not themselves.

I understand your point, and I've known a few famous people myself who opened up about their feelings, but even still they do tend to think they're untouchable exactly for that reason: they are movie stars and famous. Even if fans don't put them on that high of a pedestal, celebrities still think it. Reason being that they look at their lives no differently than frat/sorority kids who have wealthy parents that can always bail them out of trouble, pay for them to get fake good grades so they can graduate, get them the best lawyers who will get them off after they killed someone in a drunk driving accident, etc.

Celebrities know they have money, fame, connections, and access to all the best resources that can keep them untouchable. They don't care if one or two people know for a fact that they raped somebody, as long as it doesn't go massively public and affect their image. They don't even care if you saw them walk out of a mall with shit they didn't pay for. They know they're going to get out of it. That is the unfortunate fact of it. BUT, God and karma do not forget, and plenty of celebs reap what they sow.

It’s less pedestal and more about psychotic fans. They have to remove and protect themselves from the general public.

They each have their own reasons to choose to act. They have zero control over popularity.

I mean what do you think they want to become a movie star? Deep down a reason for it? I mean if a person watns to become a doctor possibly is beause they want to help people but what is the reason an actor became a movie star? I

As I said each has their own reasons. Maybe family is in the biz, using acting as some form of escapism, or they simply enjoy it. Any number of personal things.
