I'm Asian-American, but I don't care about race-swapping characters for the sake of seeing more Asians in the media. Take the Little Mermaid, I'm fine with the original Ariel being portrayed as White. Never once have I thought to myself, "I wish that this fictional character was Asian so that they could be more like more." That just seems stupid to me. I like them for their personality; I don't care that they don't look like me. And if I wanted to see Asians represented, I would make up new (Asian) characters. Why change the race of already created characters?
No, you're not- most people don't care much; many don't care at all. If they had simply redone the movie and cast a black woman without making a fuss about it, no one would've cared. The idea was to generate publicity by stirring up controversy, and pre-empting (or so they think) criticism of the decision by decrying everyone who objects as racist.

I don't mind the black characters, although I do admit that Halle Bailey is a pretty ugly woman. I'm just disgusted by lesbians, that's why I didn't see Lightyear.

Well Asians had created the Mukokuseki trope, Disney SJWs has ruined the Little Mermaid.
I'm White and I want most female characters to be Asian and Latina from now on. There's certain shows I watch just because there's a cute Asian or Latina in it. Some White women are ok.
I think so... don't worry latino and white will get the traditional black shows too...
