mostly in movies or series the past few years the aoutors try to add strong female characters but they suck they are annoying, disrespectfull and just dont have good motivations or character writing for example the mc of the new predator movie wanted to be a hunter to prove she can do it too and when they agreed to take her with them she was scared, got saved by the predator then she was mad at her brother for bringing her back to the village and killing the lion himself and thats a pattern u see very often nowdays i personally prefer strong characters that are female the diffrence here is it doesent matter that the character is female the character has her motivation and this wouldn't change if the gender was swapped the medium anime shines especially when it comes to these characters i can name 10 of the top of my head that fit in this role, i only know 3 when it comes to movies and 2 of them are almost 40 years old i just wanted to ask is that valid and I don't know as a man i am myself annoyed if a dude behaves like this i would think of him as a little b1tch how is it for other guys and what do women really think about those characters

Punctuation is your friend.
Beyond that, characters who are both strong and female are often delightful: Sarah Connor springs to mind. And Ellen Ripley. Mara Jade, too, for that matter. But you're right in that "strong female characters" are often obnoxious, since their creators confuse "strength" with "abrasiveness" and refuse to let them be wrong, even when they are. Latter-day Lisa Simpson comes to mind, too; it's not all action heroines.

They tend to be Mary Sue, while they should be underdog, as women are naturally weaker than men.
