Is your cat an indoor or outdoor cat?

Mine is a mix. He has his own little cat door, so he can go outside whenever he wants (except at night. then he will be inside!)

Would I ever own one tho? Probably not. Since I still prefer dogs. But cats are cute how their tails constantly move, they like to knock things over, their meows. Etc

I guess you could say after my boys passed away I’ve become an extreme animal/pet lover. I’ve grown to appreciate them for what they are more.

I currently have two cats, a mother and her son.
I have shared my home with many cats, strays, abandoned, they all became indoor pets due to living in high traffic areas and wild predator areas. (coyotes, birds of prey)
Cats are very independent, nobody owns a cat, they allow you to live with them.
Dogs have masters, Cats have staff!!!
They can be very loving, but on their terms. The plus side they are very easy to care for, don't need to be walked. They very clean, are grazing eaters but will need toys to play with and some sort of scratching pad to A) mark their area, B) sharpen their nails (their primary defensive protection is their sharp hook-like retractable nails [NOTE: having your cat declawed takes that protection away if they get outside]), they like heights, gives them an advantage over their territory, they are hunters and are not fully domesticated, once they step outside they are instinctive hunters just like lions, tigers, bobcats. They do shed, like sleeping where they want to, closets, couch, chairs, under furniture, etc.
I have 3 litter pans, two dry food dispensers, two 1/2 gallon water dispensers. They are very territorial and routine animals, sleep up to 19 hours a day.

She's an indoor kitty 😺 cause I live in an apartment. I try to take her out every once in whole for fresh air, even got one if those harnesses but she was not happy about being outside at all. She was really scared and doesn't like to walk sadly. I want to get her a cat wheel but I don't have much space and I'm not sure if she would use it.

She is an indoor cat. Who believes the house is hers. She has about 19 nap spots. Four of them have blankets just for her. And an Amazon box outside my wife's craft room also with it's own blanket. And a quarter can of tuna every night. Life is good.

My two cats have a little door to the garden. Both are not young anymore, but both are as well indoor as outdoor cats. In the summer they tend to be outdoors, while as you can guess in winter they prefer by far staying inside.

My cats were indoor cats but they used ot go outside too. We left the cats out during the day one time and a coyote came up on on the deck and carried one of th ecats away into the woods.

All of mine are outdoor cats. I still feed them outside but mostly they hang out at the barn and hunt on their own.

Kira is an outdoor cat definitely. Auntie Agáta is a usually indoor kitty. I ain’t sure about Mikki Matróskin, the scaredy-cat.

Indoor. People who love their cats keep them indoors. Outdoors is just too dangerous.
