What do you think of those celebrities who quit acting because they dont like the publicity on them anymore?

but also because they are very demanding that they do not accept any role anymore, they are too picky. Like Kim Basinger I read she is anxious and suffer from agarofobia so anotehr reason why she quit acting. or half retired.

This is not related to age because you can see that Harrison Ford, Hellen Mirren, Jane Fonda, Sally Field are still active, even Tom Hanks, but simply the ones who retired or half retired they quit acting for 1. they dont like red carpets anymore, publicity, being popular, so they preferred to step down from acting and now live a better peaceful life away from all of that and 2. they live away from Hollywood in a quieter place as well.

But some actors as much contradictory as it sounds, they quit acting because the lights, the publicity, being popular is something they dont like anymore, like they did like in the past, they want to return to be a normal person before they decide to become a movie star.

Lucky actors can quit just like that and still have spare money to live for years and years and not worry about going back to work because they need money. Do actors receive retirement money? I always wonder.

Things change, kiddo. People change too.

Sometimes you can wake up one morning and say "fuck this noise, I'm doing something different!" Other times it could be a work accident, or family tragedy makes you change your career.

Regardless of why, the important thing is that they make the decision and own it. Celebrities who step back from the limelight tend to get into other NGO work or into other ventures.

As for retirement. Everyone who reaches retirement gets retirement money from the state and private pension only if they have worked.

Don’t really think or care about celebrities. Do whatever they want as long as they don’t preach or talk down to everyone. Either way, I don’t base anything in my life based on anything they say or do.
