Did someone influence/inspire you when it comes to the things you are into?

Question

My mom  definitely inspired my creative ways when it comes to several forms of art (like arts/crafts and drawing, which i don’t really do anymore).  My grandma  specifically influenced my taste in old school music but I came to love all genres on my own. My mom and grandpa influenced me when it came to things like my love for the casino. Not sure if thats a good thing though haha. My love for cars and movies came from  my grandpa.  I actually love that when I’m playing Forza, he and my grandma come over to watch me play and they love admiring all the different cars and help me with purchasing and upgrades. Those two are like little kids again haha. My childhood friend  inspired my love for racing games and my former love for games and consoles in general.  My childhood crush  got me into things like skateboards. From the age of five,  my cousin  of the same age influenced my love for dancing. She was already moving like a pro and we used to love choreographing dances together, but you’d never catch us on something like TikTok.  Certain music artists  influenced my love for beats and writing... part of why I wanted to go to DJ school and a major part of why I love poetry and considered becoming a ghostwriter.  A former friend  inspired my love for pool. In several ways, I got into a lot of stuff on my own (like assembling things, blogging, etc), even some of the things I named above. But the people i mentioned helped to enhance my love for each activity. #FeelFreeToList

My mother inspired me towards music she was a great singer and always motivated me to sing and listen to music. She used to tell me that music can heal a lot of pain and it still holds true for me.
My father inspired me to work hard even if life is hard, as he didn't get any support from his family but he made himself on his own and I try to do the same.
But most importantly my big sister she not only inspires me she is my role model as she is the rock I took support from when our parents died, she stood strong took care of me and the house with a smile. And that inspires me daily to face challenges but never stop smiling.
There are other people who inspire me too like a famous actor in India the great Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, who despite his 70 age is still working and always humble and polite even with his level of stardom.

My dad was a huge WWI and WWII airplane buff and inspired my love of airplanes.

My maternal grandparents had a beautiful garden. They and my family also went on day trips to lots of beautiful public gardens and wild areas. That inspired my love of nature.

My parents used to take my sister and I on lots of day trips to see and do interesting things. That inspired my passion for new experiences and adventure.

My maternal grandfather loved music, collected records, and introduced me to lots of different music. That inspired my love of music.

An older cousin inspired my interest in surfing. But it was the older brother of one of my best friends who used to take us surfing and taught us how to surf.

Friends and my own interests inspired my passion for lots of other things. Some teachers and lots of other people inspired me throughout my life.

Definitely. My parents love music. My dad loves soccer. I think music just comes naturally often, but the soccer was definitely because of him. I loved basketball basically all my life. We had a hoop outside. We also had a huge yard, but we didn't have any nets for soccer. Only after a few world cups did I truly become interested in soccer. My parents also taught us a bunch of board games and card games that we came to really enjoy. I stopped playing chess for a long time, but multiple people told me that they're playing chess, so I picked it up again. Everyone is playing it now.

My parents, my brothers, my uncles camp counselors. I think most of the things I am most in to tends to be stuff my family influenced me in. No one go me in to reading except for the books themselves. But working with my hands, making things, art and music that all came from family.

I was inspired by religious groups at school, I saw how the Christians were so peaceful and non violent, the Muslims so collective and mutually supportive of each other, the Buddhists so generous and friendly, the Jews so honest and protective of their friends, the Hindus so humble and pure minded, the unaffiliated so caring and non judgmental.

I wasn’t influenced by anyone. A lot of the things I’m into was birthed out of being an under a lot of stress and experimenting with ways to relieve that stress. I’m a lone distance runner, I draw (like drawing gorgeous women lol), practice guitar, currently learning about c++. I find ways to escape and put that energy to use

Yeah! My best friend influenced me to be a Cowboys fan. My parents got me into singing. My sisters inspired me to like musical theatre. My dad got me into construction. My brother inspired me to love Rock music. My teacher introduced me to political science. Both of my parents also instilled in me a love of books.

Yes, a lot of what I do is influenced. My mother my love of both theater and opera. My aunt much of my music taste. My history teacher for much of my love of literature.
