What’s a joke you are tired of hearing?

I’m tired of hearing the typical customer service jokes. Usually told by middle aged white dudes.

“Is there anything else I can get for you?”

”how about a million dollars? 🤪🤪🤪”

then I gotta do my fake “I’m just tryna get a good tip” laugh.
I know they mean well though. It’s just a wholesome little dad joke. but I do wonder if they’re aware that I hear that joke several times a week lmao

Definitely with you, I’m not offended, I’m just dying from secondhand embarrassment for these people who think they’re the first brilliant mind to come up with painfully obvious jokes, or think some tired old joke everyone has heard a million times still plays. Like my Top 3 ways I’m afraid to die:

1. Trapped underneath rubble

2. Stuck in some kind of crevice or similar tight space

3. Death by cringe

I am TRIGGERED by corny jokes, lmfao.

One I remember from my retail days that was always a real knee-slapper, when you go to ring some item up and there’s no price tag or the computer can’t read the code, every fucking goof it happens with does “I guess it’s free then!” Oh, how clever! Do you really think no one has ever made that joke before? People with no social self-awareness, I just can’t, lmao. And now I have to fake chuckle at it so their feelings aren’t hurt. Yeesh.

Now you’ve got me started and I can’t leave out people who do TERRIBLE impressions of famous-but-beaten-to-death TV/movie quotes. “I’ll be back.” in the Schwarzenegger Terminator accent. “Oh, BEHAVE!” or “Yeah, baby, yeeeaaahhhh!” from Austin Powers. Ace Ventura’s “Allllllllllll-righty thennnnn….” And just so many more; I could go on and on.

And the last one before I shut up is “Let’s go, Brandon!” Look…. the initial misunderstanding with the race car driver thinking the crowd chanting “Fuck Joe Biden!” was actually cheering him on with “Let’s go, Brandon!”…. that’s objectively hilarious. But it’s over. You killed it, and quickly. Again, it’s not that I’m offended politically. It’s true that it’s become a rally cry for the Trump crowd in particular, and while I’m certainly no Trump fan, I couldn’t give a squirt of piss about Joe Biden, this isn’t me rushing to his defense. This is me rushing to the defense of the art of comedy. This video sums it up, and I feel pretty much the exact same way about Biden.

"That's what she said" jokes are starting to rub my hide. I have an in-law that just can't stop making everything a "that's what she said" joke. It's just dumb... I try to get him to watch Dave Chappell and get some new material. I get it... wanna be a clown like me... but you gotta do better than saying "That's what she said" when I say the burgers are well done.

I mean it's still sort of funny... it just feels so low IQ to hammer the same joke away at everything until instead of laughing you're like..."eeeeehhhhhhhh," while gritting your teeth.
