I've seen a lot of movies and over time you see a lot of formulas and get picky and it takes a lot more to impress me now but Across the Spiderverse is honestly one of the best movies I've seen in my entire life.
They kept the charm of the characters and the fun of being around them but kicked the story up 5 gears. The stakes are so high and the moral questions of who's even in the right or the wrong they shift throughout the movie. And the animation they also improved it so much the different transitions and the different worlds there's so much effort put into it. The universe seems like 100 times bigger than in the last movie just because you see so much more of the different worlds and you also get to spend some time in some of them and not just pass through.
And I really liked Gwens backstory and when they focused on her character too she's just as interesting but then when things get revealed about Miles it goes from just an adventure to deadly serious and you almost get whiplash and then it doesn't slow down for a second.
Since the possibilities are endless with animation and which new world, new spiderman and other characters they create the potential of the story is also limitless and I really think they did a great job realizing that potential in this story. And they can keep you off balance more easily because there's so many options of what could happen next that it's not as easy to predict which way the writers are going to go as with other movies.
Anyway I can definitely recommend watching it if you don't feel like going to the cinema

No but I want to see it. Especially after your review!
Hope you enjoy it :)
Thanks! 😊
Thanks for sharing this review!
However, I have to warn you that if that link is illegal then your question is going to get taken down. (Not by me, but by someone else.)
Also, if you're so impressed by the makers of this movie that put so much work into it and did such a great job, then why would you not want them to get paid?
It has already earned almost 300 million dollars do you think anyone is not getting paid? Honestly I think watching a movie alone in front of my 24 inch screen is more immersive than being in a big cinema with people around me thats just how I enjoy watching movies the most. I can dive into the world because there's no distractions. I went to watch Avatar 2 in the cinema because I wanted to see if the 3 d was as good as the last one but before that I haven't been to the cinema in like 10 years. The animators will get a fixed salary anyway so I'm really just giving money to Sony and Marvel and I think they have enough money to go around don't you? You don't have to agree with me I just don't see it as a big deal. You can take the question down if you want to.
@Lynx122 I already told you I'm not going to take your question down. I'm a libertarian and I don't believe in cancel culture.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with watching a movie at home. But you can do it the legal way and subscribe to Disney+.
i was very disappointed so dont waste your time instead watch something else
