Sure why not? It could even be a little thought-prompting thing since barbies are literally plastic, they have ONLY social genders & no biological sexes. So it shouldn't even piss off the transphobes since they only have a problem w the sex part, right? :) it could just be a little detail about the characters & that's all. No controversy. No big deal. Just a fun movie.

Even the language of the left is designed to deceive. A "phobia" is a fear. Yet they subvert that word by calling anyone who finds homosexuality or transexualism repulsive or sinful (not something they fear) "homophobic" or "transphobic." This is an intentional distortion and misuse of the language designed wrongly characterize anyone who disagrees with their views. Even their use of the language is intentionally subverted to deceive and avoid honest debate. This is one of the tactics people on the left do because they know they cannot win an honest debate in the public square. So everything they do is designed to distort, twist, deceive and intimidate people into going along with their dictatorship. They do not believe in free speech or even free thought. They are fascists and Marxists.

That is a completely different term used in science that does not relate to anything about a person. The use of the terms "homophobic" and "transphobic" and every other such term the left uses are inaccurate and intentionally deceptive. You will find no other word used to describe a person that uses the term that way.
