I specifically picked these artists because I see their fans comparing their faves fame to Michael’s all the time lol.. I know seeing Ice Spice and even Drake might come as a surprise to some of u lol😭

Beyonce is in my opinion. They’re trying to make Taylor that but she doesn't compare talent wise in my opinion.

In my opinion, this is how I would break this down fame-wise:

A) Taylor Swift - She's definitely up there as one of the biggest artists today. But I'd still say MJ is on another level of fame. Dude was a true global icon.

B) Beyoncé - Queen Bey is beyond huge, but more of an R&B/pop icon. MJ crossed over and appealed to way more types of crowds worldwide.

C) The Weeknd - Amazing singer and writer, but I don't think he quite has the signature style and influence over pop culture that MJ had. Yet anyway!

D) Drake - Biggest hip hop artist ever for sure. But still more of a mainstream rap name than a true mainstream pop crossover icon to most people globally like MJ was.

E) Ice Spice - Uh, nah she just blew up like last month lol way too soon. Give it 10+ years if she keeps popping maybe.

I gotta go with F - none are truly at Michael Jackson level fame-wise in my opinion. Dude was like THE biggest pop star the world has ever seen. Total global megastar. The other artists are huge but MJ was just on another level, ya know? Hard to compare really.

But I will say about Beyoncé since I like her and her music more of oldies than the new ones she has out I ain’t too much with. Now for sure she has way more musical talent and artistry than T-Swift despite what people say she’s talentless and doesn’t have skills or can’t sing. I mean, Bey is out here singing, dancing, putting on full spectacle shows - she's seriously talented. Taylor is more like a songwriter who happens to sing, ya feel me?

And Bey's career is just on another level of her own tho too. She's been major since the Destiny's Child days and is still going strong, even more successful now as a solo artist. meanwhile Taylor kinda blew up big as a teen country star and has changed her sound so much tryna stay relevant.

Plus I think Bey hits different culturally too, especially for black women. Songs like "Single Ladies" and "Crazy In Love" are legit anthems. She reps for the melanated queens, ya know? Taylor just ain't on that level of breaking barriers or having that kind of impact.

So yeah when it comes to talent, career longevity at the top, and cultural influence, I can slightly agree to a degree - Beyoncé is the one that compares most to MJ by most other people who’s into her. Tay ain't on their level in my opinion either. She's big, but more like a one-dimensional pop star than an icon.

Taylor is on Britney Spears level. Beyonce on Michael Jackson level. She can sing in any genre. Not just those. She ain't the greatest singer but she is a performer and sounds amazing live while dancing. Drake and the weekend sound horrible live! Drake where Wayne and Eminem used to be. The Weeknd is amazing but his new pop sound sucks. He need to stick to r&b. He and bruno are influenced by MJ but only Bruno and Justin sound good in other genres. Not the weekend. Ice spice can't rap. She only social media famous and her sound doesn't change. Monotone ass.
