I'm creating a story and I don't have white characters. How likely are they to call me woke? ?

If it fits, sure. Us was all black. There was a thriller in the 80s or 90s that was a black couple and like 2 or 3 other people... that worked. I wish I could remember the name. I didn't even realize that was all black until someone pointed it out later. If your force the scipt to make it that way is when it becomes too woke. You're on a plane and no white people? They're like 3/5ths of the population as a whole and most planes are skewed more white than that. Going to dinner at a nice restaurant (suit and tie level) and not a white folk in sight? That's going to be hard to explain. Whole story is at a family cookout? Sure. Maybe nobody married a white guy/gal. That's possible.

My story is fictional, based on African mythology. To serve as an example, in my story there is a group made up of brothers who were inspired by a real story of a collision of lions that were known as Mapogos. Each of them has a skill and they are all black. It's a different universe, a different planet and human characters are black. There are other beings, some hybrids of humans and other beings, etc. They told me to write my story once, it would be strange if they were bothered by the characters I chose to put in my story.

If it was all white and you put a black guy in there, that would seem tokenistic. Since this is a different world and people are (at least mainly) black, there's no reason for a token white guy.

I have created a new universe, a new planet and there is no politics, because I have no intention of talking about politics.

It will be diverse. I have characters that are hybrids of humans and other beings. I will do what Japanese authors do. It's quite common for stories where the character dies and is reincarnated in another world and everyone there has white skin and so far I haven't seen a Japanese or white author have to give explanations. They just create.

Maybe because most white people think the characters are white. It's no wonder that many white people get nervous when black people cosplay, they say the character is white and not black.

Not only that, but there seems to be a certain pattern. I realize that depending on the color of the characters it is necessary to give explanations that other characters do not need to explain. It's normal to create a story about a Japanese or white character who died and was reincarnated in another universe and another planet, and there all humans have white skin, but if they do the same with black characters it's necessary to give millions of explanations.

I didn't understand. If a character is black, then he has to be black enough. Unless it's a mixed-race person, because mixed-race people tend to be lighter, but if it's a black person, it has to be black. What's the problem?

Perhaps you should just say you don’t think diversity is inmportant in your story and you disagree with those who defended turning Angrboda black in God of war.

Regarding that pattern of ypurs, check out the game Kingdom come deliverance. Dude who made a game about old Bohemia got labeled racist because he dared to not include black people in his game.

The problem is, if black people can cosplay as white characters, then for the sake of equality white people can cosplay as black characters. Yet only white people dressing up as blacks seems to get labeled racist.

Actually, I don't need to say anything. It was white people who started this stupid fight about who can cosplay or not, which makes idiots on both sides argue. For me, everyone is free to cosplay whatever they want. I want people to not upset me about not having white characters, after all it doesn't make sense to tell people to create their own characters and then complain about why they created their own characters.

Either your target audience thinks diversity is sooo important that you would need to diversify African mythology, or the sjws who used fiction and diversity to defend turning Angrboda black or complain about lack of blacks in Kingdom come deliverance is not your target audience.

Either way, your target audience is not sjws.

If your target audience is leftists who thinks diversity is important, give them that diversity wby raceswapping some black gods.
If your target audience does not think diversity is important, say that those who do are not your target audience.
If you don’t wish to say someone is not your target audience, say that right wing anti-sjws will never be excluded from being a true part of your target audience.

I don't know Song of the south, what is it about? I did a quick search and it seems to be about a black man who tells stories about slavery as if it were a wonderful past.

I did some more research, were the black people in the film happy to be slaves who, even when they were free, stayed there?

Its about a boy befriending a friendly old man named Uncle Remus, who tells the kids stories about Brer Rabbit. The movie does not use the word slave from what I remember. The stories about Brer Rabbit are based on collection of folktales told by people who were slaves. I have not actually read the actual stories, but its a great movie. Not as great as Mary Poppins, but still one of Disney’s better movies.
