You know the type of people who preach about how important diversity in media is.
Here is a soon to be released show co created by Disney and a Nigerian company.
The human cast looks rather undiverse so far

No, in fact they'll probably try to gaslight everyone into believing it's the first time black people have been animated on television. Everything is a self-proclained "first..." now.
obviously not complain, they don't really want diverse just what fits their agenda. not real want diverse.

No, but let me play devil's advocate: the people I've talked to are more concerned about diversity on a large scale than in individual works. The goal is not necessarily to have a diverse cast in every piece of media, but for viewers to have a diverse set of prominent heroic characters in the medium as a whole that they can identify with. It doesn't matter so much whether they're in this show or that show, just as long as they're somewhere.
To that point: there are already a lot of white or light-skinned characters on TV. This show does not have a diverse cast, but it brings more diversity to television as a whole.
It's kind of an awkward problem, though. In a perfect world, black kids would have as many heroic characters onscreen they can identify with as white kids do, but there are not as many black kids in the US as there are white and others. Giving them equal screen time would make shows that appeal to black audiences disproportionately less popular. The kids would benefit, but the studios not so much, since they would face the same amount of competition for a smaller payoff.
To THAT point, I actually think the creators here are pretty brave. Having an all-black cast will be great -- for the roughly 10-15% of kids in the country watching. That's 85-90% not watching your show or buying your merchandise. (Percentages assume non-black kids will not watch, which some probably will, and black kids will watch, which some probably won't. In a truly perfect world, the race of the characters wouldn't matter to the viewer, but it often does -- to kids and adults.)
I think this is part of the reason why shows with animal characters are so popular. A character without a race is a blank canvas anyone can fill.
Of course not.. The people who do complain don't actually want diversity, or they think that any show without "White" people is diverse.. Look at Black Panther. They called that diverse despite most of the cast being "Black" and not actually diverse..
