What makes cats so attractive to social media?

There are many cat videos on Youtube and cat groups on facebook, and many cats nowadays have their own FB and Instagram pages. What is it about cats that we all love them so much on social media?

Cats do do funny things.

Mine takes full advantage of the polished wooden floor he has.

Running to another room he slides and bounces off the door to make the turn sharp. Got him A3 paper sheets so he run down the stairs and jump onto the sheet and slide across the floor. Runs into paper bags to slide across the floor.
