Like the new movie "The Blackening" which takes place on Juneteenth, so all the friends that get together for the party are black.
Or the old movie "But I'm a Cheerleader" which takes place at a conversion therapy camp, so most of the characters are gay.

that's the rule of everything in story, if it belongs there nothing else matters
I find it funny, how even in ads they have to show all sorts of races, oriantations, except for an all white hetrosexual couple, which seem to be almost none existant now.
Yes, that's why I asked "if there's a reason" like the examples I gave above. Then do you find it funny? Or do you not care, since it has a specific reason?
it's the new hip and trendy thing to do right now.
Just like all of the other fads before this movement it will soon fade away.
I haven't seen those movies.
But you understand the question right? I'm not asking in general what you think when a show or an ad has a majority of characters that are part of a minority community. I'm asking specifically when there is a reason for it. When it's because of the setting of the movie or a specific event in the movie, as an example. Then would you care? When regardless of whether it's hip or trendy, it makes more sense for those characters to be in the movie than it would for them to mostly be straight or white?
Also those 2 example movies came out in 2022 and 1999, respectively. That doesn't seem like a fad or something that will go away, even if it is more common now than it used to be.
best answer that I can give you.
That wasn't an answer at all. You talked about exactly what I didn't ask about. I guess if you can't understand the question then there's not much I can do though. I can't explain it any more clearly. Thanks for trying anyway.
I don't like to see horror movies with a black cast. Haven't black people been through enough?
