Is Super Mario world on Super Nintendo a relaxing game for you or stressful?

The vibe of this game is relaxing and super light-hearted and fun, which I really dig. The music is on point kind of inspires the same feel-good feeling like Charlie Brown music used to make me feel. But as far as advancing in the game for me I find it to be a difficult one and frustrating. I remember going through the game and completing it all the way when it originally came out but that was 30 years ago. So I recently started playing it again and it's like playing a new game all over again. But it didn't take long for me to be like wow this is not an easy game. When you die it sets you back a couple levels and got to go through the hard parts again what's your experience with this game?

I love and grew up on Super Mario World. It brings back a lot of great memories when I played it on SNES in the early 90s. I'm a gamer but not the same like was back in the days, so it was difficult to beat when I got back into it two years ago lol. It doesn't matter because its all about the great memories now and that is relaxing.

Yeah I remember completing the game when it originally came out and don't remember it being difficult like I find it now guess that's what happens when you get older right LOL

Relaxing every once in a while, but too easy and too slow paced compared to previous mario games.

I beat Super Mario 2 on NES and this one one time. Platforming games were never my strength this something about the jumps the timings got to be right it can kind of stress me out a little bit and give me anxiety LOL. But I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone and just go for it

I lost count of how many times I beat 1, 2, and 3, I never owned world, but from the video it looks much slower paced. Nowadays geometry dash is more my speed for challenge, but sometimes I have nostalgia for the music and environments and characters of older platformers and go back to stuff like super mario.

Yeah world is I would say a slower pace I guess you can even fly in it though when you get the cape I've never mastered that either going to have to try to maybe find it on YouTube or something. The only two platforming games I used to be good at retro was Contra and Ninja gaiden on nes

Those games were fun, if you like contra you should try metal slug xx (if you haven't already).

Oh yeah definitely love the metal slug games those are a blast literally LOL. I have the SNK classics on the Wii and it's got one of the metal slug games on it

Once you've played anything with online multiplayer, most single player games suddenly feel relaxing tbh lol.
