I heard this song today. It is from a long time ago. It is not a person that he is singing about. He is singing about New York City.

Evidently New York City made it through the 70s but I wonder if it is finally the end of the line?

I guess I wasn’t around in the 70s to see it, but I go to NYC pretty regularly, and it seems just fine to me. Same as it ever was, anyway.

I was walking around at like 3 AM last time, felt totally safe. It was just me and the rats and roaches, lmao. INSANE amount of garbage generated, just huge piles of trash bags out on the sidewalk waiting for pickup. Then you just hear scurrying noises and “Eep! Eep! Eep!”😂

I don’t know, I love just being in that peak of hyper-urbanity, even with its warts. It energizes me💪

What do you call this genre of music, by the way? Feels like it’s was kind of a 70s thing, and there was this more sad extreme, and the other end of the spectrum was like the Welcome Back, Kotter theme song😂

the cleanest part is Trump tower area. The rest is a trash pile. Lots of good hard working immigrants and americans there. the smart ones escape...

The large Democrat-controlled cities of the US will survive but I expect they will become stagnant for some time, like Detroit, and much of the urban population will shift to the large cities of the South. Hopefully, that wll not dilute the conservative power of the South.
