Can you name more MALE singers or more FEMALE singers?

I was listening to music recently and it occurred to me that I probably know more female singers that male singers, though I listen to both, as well as groups, orchestras, bands, all kinds of music.

What about you? Can you name more male singers or more female singers? Or maybe about the same number of each?

about the same, probably...

only a couple of genres tend to have more male singers, but all the rest... could even up the scale

and I definitely am into many genres, that's for sure

I prefer the female voice if it is natural and not auto-tuned to death (a rare thing these days).

However, most vocalists I listen to are male.

I know classic rock singers fairly well, but there are so many more male singers that I would probably be able to name more guys.
