I think this is a lot like the Titanic movie, if those two lovers had survived the ship wreck, the relationship would have become mundane and dull and nobody would care after 3 years. If the Beatles were all alive, they would have regrouped and separated dozens of times to form several new bands with other people and each band would have different levels of success and the members would have differing levels of fame and money. But they would not have the type of money that Yoko Ono has now, because the more bands you are in, the more forgettable your songs are.

I think they would have in the sense that Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd has - only for very special occassion 1-offs. For instance, an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
