Of those choices, Scooby Doo. I actually like that cartoon as a kid, some following iterations and both of the live action movies.
I was also a fan of the “Marmaduke” newspaper comic.
My family had Great Danes when i was a kid and they have long held a special place in my heart.
I’m also a fan of “White Fang” by Jack London. It’s one of the few fictional books that i truly enjoyed as a child. It might even have been the first.
I also grew up with “Benji”. Those were cute movies.
Does “The Shaggy DA” count? That was good fun back when Disney was still making good movies and shows.
What about Falkor? Sure, he’s a “luck dragon” but every kid saw a flying fluffy dog!
How about Rowlf the musically inclined dog on “The Muppet Show”? Cute, funny and talented. What’s not to like?
Dog is often said to be man’s best friend. There have been lots of heartwarming and entertaining interpretations of that age old love story. It’s difficult to pick just one.
Not all of them are happy and fun either. I recently rewatched “Cujo” and that remains a brilliant thriller. “Old Yeller” might be the first time my little heart broke. Sad for sure, but still a great story and if not a favorite, definitely deserving of honorable mention.

I honestly don't know if he's "fictional", but I'm guessing he isn't. My answer is Jack! From Little House on the Prairie. I cried when he died when I watched the TV series. I love that show and still watch it but when that episode comes on, I'll change the channel. Watching that show was one of the reasons I wanted a dog when I was little lol
