I’m really curious about the music industry side of things. What do you guys and girls think a comprehensive artist development program should look like today?
How do we properly mold and season underground talent for long-term success? Specifically, what pillars should be prioritized for independent rappers and R&B singers right now?
I’d love to hear your thoughts from both sides—guys and girls—on how to balance creative growth (vocal training, stage presence) with commercial readiness (media presence, branding, industry literacy). What truly makes a star?

A solid modern artist program for indie rap/R&B should feel like a mini-label in one house 🎧
It needs intense vocal/rap coaching, songwriting and storytelling labs, plus weekly live-performance rehearsals with video playback so they study their stage presence. Parallel to that: branding (visual style, socials, cover art), release strategy, basic contracts/royalties education, content creation skills, and mental health/business mentoring.
A star now is consistency + identity + story: distinct sound, clear visual world, reliable output, and someone who understands how to turn their real life into a narrative fans can follow and invest in ⭐
