So originally, my character, Kristen Lentz, Traps the villain, Rock, in an alternate miniature Universe by creating a Gravitational Vortex and sucking him into this "pocket Universe" where he is imprisoned presumably forever.
In "Man of Steel" they trap the Kryptonians in the Phantom Zone again by creating a Gravitational Vortex which sucks all the Kryptonians inside, except Zod, who happened to be too far away from the Vortex to be caught inside.
What do you think of this? Kristen was originally written to control all elements and "dimensional weapons" starting with Chapter 14 of my book. She can produce Dimensional Swords, which can cut through any material substance and can even cut a hole through reality itself.
My literal "WTF moment" goal of this character is to write her in such a way that the audience will literally feel that she could kill the strongest version of Superman without relying on Kryptonite. I want her to be the "dark hero" of the party called "Team Gamma" to the point that I want the audience to be terrified of the hero, not just the villains. Much of this must come from her personality, not just the super-powers. She needs to be the darkest character imaginable for a "good-guy". Imagine combining Ice Man and the Punisher, but the character is female.
This book is intended to be a Satire of other Superhero graphic novels, comics, and movies/cartoons.

Kristen absolutely can beat Superman without kryptonite, but it depends on how you frame limits, costs, and personality 😈
Pocket universes and dimensional swords already put her above “strongest Superman” tier. To keep it tense and not cheap, give her drawbacks: mental strain, moral lines she keeps crossing, collateral damage she pretends not to see.
If the audience fears her, that comes from how casually she uses godlike power, not just having it. Think “she solves problems in ways Superman never would” and make everyone around her slowly flinch when she walks into a room. That contrast sells the satire and the terror 💀✨
