But can you remember him with hair or have you only known him as one of the few successful baldies?

Do you even know if that’s his hair? It’s not like you shared a pic of him getting out of the shower or a pool. You know actors wear wigs and makeup when their skills are up to snuff but they don’t necessarily look the part, right? Ell oh ell!
Patrick Stewart has been bald for as long as i have recognized him. He might have been a trendsetter early on, but baldness is pretty widely accepted in entertainment now. Certainly haired people and those who continue to hide beneath wigs and hair pieces outnumber our cleanly sheered and follicle impaired brothers and sisters, but i wouldn’t characterize them as “few”. Without doing an actual count, i would be willing to bet that the ratio of bald actors & actresses to those with hair, natural or worn, is probably higher than the ratio among the common people. It’s kool. It’s sexy. And for women it’s often said to be “brave”.
Embrace the baldies!!!
He still had a bit of hair in Excalibur, which is where I first saw him. He was clearly balding, but still had plenty of hair on his horseshoe, and a little up top.
Fantastic movie, by the way, if you enjoy the King Arthur legend.
Before Star Trek TNG, I never heard of Patrick Stewart.
After the 1st season of Star Trek TNG, I watched nearly every episode of every TNG season afterwards followed by every X-Men movie with Sir Patrick Stewart.
I remember watching a movie called "The Wilde Wedding" in which he wore a wig.
I can't recall him with his natural hair.
After seeing him bald on t. v., I find him ugly with hair on his head, because I am used to the bald look on him. His best style is the mature and wise sage, not the young and passionate eye candy, he is too old and plain for that eye candy role.
I totally remember Patrick Stewart with hair, and it’s always a bit of a shock to see it 😂
In “I, Claudius” (1976) as Sejanus he had that thick, dark, very Roman-looking hair and beard. He also had hair (or partial hairpieces) in some early British TV and stage work in the late 60s and early 70s.
Most people only really met him bald as Picard and Professor X though, so the “hair era” feels almost like an alternate timeline 😅

I liked him more as Locutus, he made a good hairless Borg drone.
@purplepoppy Never saw him in a role where he had hair. You are right as always, very few successful bald men actors. Jason Stratham for another.
Nope, since the first time I saw him in a movie (Lifeforce, aka Space Vampires)... he was bald back in the 80s, I can't remember him with hair.
The first I heard of him was on Star Trek TNG, It was disappointing that they have not found a cure for baldness in the 23rd century.
I had never heard of him until recently.
No no no, Patrick Stewart is bald, who's that guy?
I never considered the possibility that he ever had hair
Yeah. According to Wikipedia he started to get bald with 19. :-)
That must be a toupée/wig. I have seen works of him from the 1970s and he was bald.
I don't think I have ever seen him with hair. But remembering implies I was alive back then, so definitely not.
It's a trick question. Patrick Stewart never had hair.
I’m sorry to hear that. No I don’t remember him ever having hair
I actually saw Claudius too, so I know both.
nobody remembers that. Star Trek is all I remember. That show sucked.
I don't think I ever saw him young
I never saw him with hair.
No but I loved him as Professor X
I never knew of him before he did Star Trek
I dont remember him without hair.
I'm 73, so yes. RIP, Sir Patrick !!!
Who is Patrick Stewart?
No. Just as picard
Nem sabia quem era esse cara
