On my mother's side I can trace up to a Viking Warrior.
If you're truly proud of your Vikings heritage, you'd be a fan of every sports team nicknamed Vikings like Cleveland State Vikings and Minnesota Vikings.

I am not denying that rape didn't exist. I am just saying it wasn't as prevelant as people think. People say the same thing about modern day America. I dont know why people seem to think like that. The vikings were actually quite progressive. I probably won't be okay with murder but not much you can do.

First : Every race was like that in specific era !!! you can look that up through the whole history that each one of them ( race ) did something bad and good. that was simply the norm back then.
Second : Just like they did bad things, they have great achievements too in their community back then not just the invasions but also the moral code they acquired is very impressive. and there is nothing wrong with being PROUD with your ancestry no matter who you are or where you came from.

@Alpha89s you just read my mind. Every culture raped, murdered, and pillaged for fun. At least during the viking period, all rape was punishable by death. In modern day America, Brock Turner only had to serve three months of his originally six month sentence and he was caught in the act of rape. So who is really the barbarians? As much as I would love to go full Viking, no one is Norse enough. And I would go to jail for murder and destruction of property.
Do you have any legitimate sources you'd like to cite? You can't very well claim history is wrong and then not cite any sources.
