Found this in an interview of the authors of the book, "F*ck Feelings". One of the authors is a board-certified psychiatrist

Q: "when [men] don’t talk about feelings, you can get criticized for being closed off and unemotional."

Answer: "Well, there are other things that are more important. Your values. Your contributions. Some guys don’t express feelings well through words, but they express them through actions. Very enlightening. When my relatives or wife's friends are going to come for a party, I run around making sure the house is ready. Even if it involves me working in the yard during a thunderstorm or being on the roof the night before. Whatever it takes. It's also my responsibility to make sure our household is prepared for any emergency & I take that very seriously.

There's nothing wrong with being a man and expressing how we feel in the way that is most natural to us. Don't listen to those who tell you that you need to act like a woman to be a man.

My dad does the same thing, starts fixing things as soon as he shows up. Sometimes when girls meet, they compliment each other and don't really mean it. Likewise, guys sometimes insult each other and don't really mean it. Anyways point is guys have a different way of showing love. I think it is a good thing for a guy to be in touch with his emotional side. If a guy bottles up too much, it can cause him to explode. Girls do not always pity a man that shows his emotions, despite what some say. It's obvious when you see random girls making fun of emotional guys online. Then they don't want a guy that's too callous either. The line from Dazed and Confused always stuck with me, "Women don't want anything!" Some truth to that as well, seems like women want both and neither.

Good write I think Many of us want to act manly but the media and less knowledge and less power make men accept to act more feminine under that pressure till they find themselves.

I heard They want to replace James bond with a female bond. They say James gives toxic masculinity. SMH

It's all part of an agenda to use the media to program young boys into growing up to be soft.

What about some women can understand when a man doesn’t express himself. I think it means they’re compatible for each other.
but some women want a man to communicate. I think men do communicate it’s just that some women don’t have patience. And we as women tend to get nervous and anxious easily if can’t understand our man. That’s when problems occur in relationship.

You don’t need to act like us but it be nice if you would be understanding. We are women we have emotions So we’re not always levelheaded and we’re not always going to be the perfect little wife or whatever you want us to be. sometimes we don’t wanna wear make up

And sometimes a woman thinks she's relationship material when she's not. There's limits to everything.

No not exactly. Just because she’s not relationship material to you doesn’t mean that she couldn’t be for somebody else it’s too many people in the world

Of course I'm speaking form the POV of traditional minded guys. Your mileage may vary. I'm sure there's lots of confused guys and guys who are led by women out there.

Thanks but lead by woman. If you really want to go old school they say men are the head right but women are the neck to control the man and what direction it goes. God intended it to be like that he made the rules

Yes! We are seeing this as part of the war on men and boys. Female behavior is seen as the "gold standard" and typical (natural) male behavior is seen as "toxic" and "hostile" by default. Society has put a lot of time, effort, energy, trying to make men more effeminate and more like women, and yet women are more miserable than ever.

Women have effectively and decisively won the gender war (congratulations), but they hate the changes they made in men.

We men can only be wrong so many times ladies.

A woman's brain runs on feelings and emotions.
A man's on facts and logic.

This isn't to say guys don't have feelings, but it's just not the same as women. A very basic difference on the two genders, and the giant lie of feminism that everybody is all the same and equal. They're just not. Never have been and never will be. And why boys need a dad. Well, girls do too, but for different reasons.
