Is it weird thaat I call my big brother bubba?

I'm 13 and my brother is 18. I've called him bubba ever since I was a baby. A few months ago when we picked him up from his football game I said good job bubba and he gave me a hug and stuff. Well yesterday him and his friends was playing football with my dad in the backyard. I was cheering saying Go Bubba and stufff. One of the boys laughed and said wtf is a bubba. My brother shrugged and they kept playing. When they was taking a break I said bubba you were doing good. And he said stop calling me that. I asked him why and he said because it's weird.

It is not weird, he was just embarrassed because his stupid friend was making fun of him. Don't stop calling him that, maybe just avoid it around his friends. He is a teen, it is the age when you are self-conscious about everything other people think about you (Stupidly, and that will stop at some point hopefully)

its okay to call whatever you want in house but its very weird when u do that in front of outsiders. they make fun of it after... just call him that at home not in front of his or your friends

Its not weird Everyone I know calls one of my guy friends Bubba , its normal especially since you've called him that since you were a baby
