Why does everyone like my best friend instead of me. The boys that i like either like her better or are not 'interested' its so annoying i am a very nice outgoing full of personality person and she is a shy, some what quite kind of girl. I just dont get it and i feel jealous all the time because she gets invited to places but never go or guys would ask her out and she will say no but they still cling to her. She says her parents are strict but i dont believe her i think she is just being a stuck up preppy bitch and thinks she is better than everyone and only focuses on school and dance . i dont get how she gets a lot of likes in her instagram when she is not even really that pretty she is ok..i look better. I just want to know why everyone likes her better. PS: THATS MY BEST FRIEND IN THE PHOTO I SCREEN SHOOTED ONE OF HER INSTAGRAM PICS

Being shy is quite attactive, since you seem vurnerable and more trustworthy, while being confident is a bit intimidating, might be why. You might also be underestimating her looks she's quite beautiful, It seems like jealousy to me, ok she gets attention, and you don't. She seems a bit like me, minus the girls chasing... Focusing on school and activities is the best thing to do.
P. S. Calling her a Preppy Bitch won't help, also tone it down a little, your guy will come, and if he doesn't, chase one yourself.
I don't think it's really possible to properly answer your question with the info given but I think you just need to vent (as you are).
Guys will always have different tastes but just stick to your own thing and ignore what she does (as far as boys' attention and stuff go) and I'm sure you'll reap in your own crowd eventually :)

I kind of understand how you feel. It's very frustrating when my friends get invited all the time and I don't. But don't get mad at her. Also, I think she is very pretty. And getting attention is not that important thing. So just be yorrself and try not to care about your best friend getting attention. Focus on other things. Otherwise you will be just a jealous bitch.
