Why do my best friend acts different around me?

My friend act different when we hang out in private. They act more mature (I think) and they do be happy around me but sometimes they are quiet too and I have to do the talking (I'm introvert but they is extrovert)

But in public when I'm sometimes not around her, she'll act her usual self, like more excited, funny, giggly around them. I'm just confused and sad.. she used to act like this around me. Is she afraid to show her true self to me? Or don't want to be seen around me (or seen as friends in public/school)?

Do she hate me or something? Please don't tell me she is a fake friend!!! Maybe she is just shy around me for some reason, maybe because I'm shy around her 😂

Note: we've been friends for about 4 months and we go to the same school. Sorry for my bad grammar 😅

I think she's not yet comfortable around you and she needs more time to get comfortable. She doesn't really sound like an extrovert and she could be faking her bubbly personality. But at the same time instead of being uncomfortable, that could actually be her real personality, not being talkative and she's showing her true self to you. But you've guy's only known each other for 4 months and I'd wait to give her more time. She doesn't sound like an extrovert though. Extroverts are outgoing all the time and she may be in the middle like a introvert and extrovert combination. Give her more time to get more familiar with you! Good luck I hoped I helped!
