Eh, not always. I talk shit about people mostly when I don't like them. It's got nothing to do with jealousy. Although, I definitely have talked shit about people because I am jealous of them in some way, shape or form. This is not usually the case, though. I usually talk hate because I do hate not because I'm jealous.

Usually it's the case, but not necessarily, there could be plenty of other reasons like it's a fact that the person does whatever and they're just commenting/giving opinions about it.
