Is it a turn off if a girl has divorced parents?

Anonymous
I've just graduated from high school (currently sitting my final exams) and plan on going to university next year. My parents are planning on splitting up some time in the next year or so, and I've been pondering how their unhappy relationship/divorce will affect me and my own long term relationships in the future. Is it a turn off for guys if a girl comes from an unhappy/broken family?

Side note on the nature of the split: Long story short, their relationship just isn't functioning anymore. They've long since fallen out of love and are constantly arguing. Both came from difficult childhoods and my dad in particular has been unable to heal & move on from those experiences in a healthy, effective manner, which in turn deeply affects his relationship with my mum.

Until I move out, I plan to split my time between them evenly and maintain relationships with both of them, so I'll still have a mother & father figure in my life. I hope they'll be able to tolerate being around each other enough so I can invite them both to my uni graduation, wedding etc.
