Why is my boyfriend's brother mean to me?

so I went over to my boyfriends house and met his brother for the first time. his brother didn't introduce himself and he wasn't very friendly. he just kinda sat there and didn't look at me. when he was talking to me he wouldn't even look at me. he just handed the hookah hose to me kinda his way of saying "wanna smoke some?" but he never looked at me or said anything. he told my boyfriend he felt gross because he didn't take a shower but he wouldn't leave the room it took him a long time to leave my bf's room. and he picked up my flip flops and joked saying "hey, you want your flip flops?" and he was talking to my boyfriend. then he took out the guitar and played a song to his friend and said that I clapped once he was down to my boyfriend. well he finally left and me and my boyfriend had some "fun" and his brother wouldn't stop knocking on the door to come in. he took a shower and I went upstairs with my boyfriend to get food and his brother wouldn't stop staring at me. I asked him where the trashcan was and he said "in the fridge". I was pouring syrup on my waffles and his brother was like "way too much! too much! you like drowned them in syrup" and pretty much everything I did his brother would comment on it. I got up to get a drink and his brother said "sit down right now!" and I when I sat down his brother said "hey is your natural hair color blonde? I bet it's brown because I can see your roots" his brother is 15 by the way so I don't know. he also had a girlfriend. I honestly don't know how that's possible

You are "taking" his best buddy away. Do not underestimate the bond two brothers can have, it may seem like he is sniffing you out but, he is likely misplaced without his older brother. Men need a strong sense of themselves from the comrodery of other men. Not like the current ideas that fly around from all that but brothers are vital when growing up. Separation can produce a lot of mixed emotions. Try to include him about twice a week in something fun you two are doing. If you think ahead, you can have something in mind when he starts getting between the two of you. This all originates from fear.

what didn't make sense to me was he was he wasn't really talking my boyfriend or trying to get my bf's attention he was talking to me a lot.

Did you mean his brother has a girlfriend? or is he not with her anymore. Because maybe there's a sense of jealousy that he wants what you two have and if he doesn't have it nor can you that's why he is annoying. Or he's just an annoying guy who wants attention but I'm sure he doesn't want to offend you on purpose.

I meant if he HAD a girlfriend then he mite be jealous of what you and his brother have. But that's irrelevant now. ...I think he just wants the attention and likes to be annoying.

He's jealous you might steal his bro awayy and they won't have time together. And a lot of younger bros are like that trying to be annoying, so you'll know they have the power in the house not you. but they don't know they're just being bratty
