My boyfriend and I broke up in June of last year. It was a devastating blow, but he had moved across the country for a new job opportunity and I wasn't sure we were going to work out. The break-up was initiated by him and I took it extremely hard.
A couple weeks after out break-up and he had left, his brother invited me to a party. I ended up getting pretty intoxicated and ended up making a mistake and hooking up with his brother at the party. His brother said we "let's keep it quiet."
A couple weeks after the party, my ex called me and said he was so sorry for breaking up with me. He said he missed me, still loved me and wanted to get back together. He said he had to do some thinking, and he that he realized he needs me in his life. At that point, I knew I had to tell him. He was completely devastated and cried on the phone with me all night. I told him it was a big mistake and that I thought we were over for good.
We broke up again for 6 months after he found out. He would not take any of my calls and blocked me off of everything, rightfully so.
This past Christmas, he called me out of the blue. He told me he's always thought of me and that he still loves me. He said I've always been in the back of his mind and he wanted us to try and work things out. I agreed.
Since we've gotten back together, though, it's been either great or horrible. When we argue, he calls me a wh**re and threatens to break-up with me. He tells me I ruined his relationship with his brother, and our relationship, and that I'm the reason why we're in this position. He runs very hot and cold. Either very affectionate and loving, or he thinks I'm the worst person in the world who crushed his heart. He literally tells me that he loves me but hates me at the same time.
I'm supposed to be moving out there with him in 4 days, but I'm not sure it's a good idea. I love him SO much, but is he ever going to be able to move past this? How can we make it work?
