Why would she just stop talking to me?

So in elementary school I had this friend who I'd prefer not to name so I'll call her M and all through elementary school we were best friends but once we got to middle school she just stopped talking to me for some reason and I don't know why because I never did anything to her to make want to stop being my friend

Sometimes people's parents interfere. Hers may have decided they didn't like you and told her to stop being friends with you. Try asking M what happened if you still see her around.
