My grandfather had a problem with alcohol addiction before and it scared me as a child. End result, I never drink and I'm uncomfortable around drunk people so I don't hang out with friends or family if there's alcohol involved.
NO, dad enjoyed a drink very rare did he get drunk , he wasn't violent with it. Mother might have a sherry but never 2. I suppose nearest to this was cousin. He tried all sorts booze or drugs. But it killed him he hit a tree while high on something..
I can guarantee you if you don't truly want it you're not going to get it even if your mind is playing tricks on you and you think you want it you might last for 6 months not doing nothing but I guarantee whenever you go back it's going to be three times as bad and it's going to be five times as hard to quit in fact you may never so even after you're done and you're in sobriety it still takes lots and lots and lots of daily ground work
It sure does. I have had to make some hard decision to remove family members friends from my life because they were triggers for me and that's just not gonna work. I live what most would call a boring life but I'm clean and that is what matters to me
That's what should always matter when I was going through rehab the one thing that they really harped on well the three things that they really harped on for people places and things it's a big reality check because a lot of people family members friends best friends places clubs your house other people's houses things going to parties and see another people doing it you'll never get sober if you don't change your environment totally not just where you live but who you live by the places that you go and that people that hang around other people that do things that you're trying to quit
I was addicted to porn n fap... not addicted but still tryna quit it... other than that being muslim we never drink n my family is also aeay from drugs or smoking too

Girl, if you're smokin' weed and occasionally drinking, you far from clean!
I use cannabis for my chronic pain occasionally meaning once every year maybe so I know I'm sober and don't need anyone to tell me what and who I am
