Why does my father hate my ex boyfriend more than my mother?

Even though both of my parents hate him, my father's hatred towards him runs deeper than my mom's. They hate him because he used me for both pleasure and money/wealth, had his female friend defamed my father's character (nearly caused my mother to file for divorce) and made my mother's cholesterol and blood pressure get elevated too much out of stress.

My mother simply blocked him and never wants to hear from him again. However my father wished him the worst fate ever. In fact, if anyone gave my father a remote control to zap him into oblivion (making him disappear from Earth), he would do it without hesitation. He's capable of destroying anyone that hurts me or my brother. The person becomes his immediate enemy.

Why does he hates him more than my mom?

His level of hatred towards him is higher than my mother's. My mother never liked him and hates him but her famous words are always ''I still don't wish death nor bad against my worst enemy''. My father however doesn't care... anyone messing with me and my brother and it's an instant ''you're my enemy now, I wish you death''.
