i see, you say you tried to "hint" to him that you're dating so he gets that you're not into him. it doesn't work that way. some people don't understand so you'll have to just tell him.
you don't "have to" answer any questions... just be honestly. seriously. it gets you far in life. "sorry, i can't talk right now" "sorry, i'd rather not share" etc... or just... you know... stare back at him or if it's text don't respond...
in the end, you're just going to have to use your words like an adult...
He's only freinds with you because he has tricked himself into believing that one day, you'll give him a chance. That's the only reason. Any relationship you find yourself in, instead of being happy and supportive, he's secretly hoping that the two of you will break up. Anytime you break up with someone, he'll be there to "comfort" you by hoping that you'll agree to have sex with him, being that you are in a vulnerable state and aren't thinking straight. Stop being friends with him.
He is exactly what a "Simp" is.
At some point in his life he was lead to believe that he can have any woman he wants just because he wants her, but he doesn't understand that attraction has to go both ways.
You may just have to be blunt with him and say "I don't feel like answering a bunch of questions today, can you just give me some space please."
