What should I do if my friend always take a day to reply?

I'm asking this because it's kinda annoying, especially when I'm trying to have a conversation.

So yesterday, she replied to a message I had sent to her the day before. I replied after like 5 minutes (but I usually take a bit longer to reply). We had a VERY BRIEF conversation. She suddenly "disappeared" for the rest of the day. Today, she replied at pretty much the EXACT SAME TIME as when she had sent her first text yesterday. She is just a female friend, but could she be playing mind games with me?

Anyway, what should I do? How should I act? How fast should I respond?

I don't want to play games, but it's annoying. And I'd rather not discuss it to her. I don't want to seem "needy"/desperate.

I have friends that haven't spoken to me in months despite my attempts to reach out, you just have to be about your business and not care too much.
