As a man, how many women have you tried to help only to see it backfire so badly that you wonder where you went wrong?

I don’t know the context for what you are saying, but one thing that annoys me is when people try to help and they do not have the skills or the knowledge to help. Like I wanted to talk to a schizophrenic guy to pray for him and his PSW told me I am not allowed to be his friend or help him because I do not have a degree in psychiatry. And my cousin tried to force me to take addictive diabetes medication against my will when I said I had low glucose tolerance and I had a guy harass me and try to change my opinion that Trump should lose the election because he made slanderous comments about Mexicans and Africans during his campaign. And I had a woman yell at me for being annoying and selfish because I would complain to her about the stress of doing school work while refusing to accept her advice of getting myself tested for disability and disability accommodations, she did not understand why I wanted to avoid having my moderate STEM weakness interpreted as a disability and why I wanted to avoid relying on special accommodations to boost my grades. Every time I went to her for sympathy over school related stress she would yell at me and tell me I’m a bad person for asking her for help and she said I was lying when I said I was not asking for help and just wanted sympathy.

Only a handful- usually, they at least have the decency to be grateful for what I'm TRYING to do, and will give a "no, really, I've got this" if they don't need help. It's quite rare to have it turn on you, but when it does, hoo-boy...
