Why is my husband's friend (ex friend) upset with me?

3 days ago during a family reunion, he started acting flirtious and weird with me when my husband wasn't around. Then he wanted to talk to me in private. He asked me if I wanted to go to the movies with him on a weekend and that his friend doesn't need to know about it.

I forwarded all this to my husband as soon as the reunion was over, he confronted him and we're no longer friends. Just hour ago his now ex friend send me an upset message calling me a ''b**** for snitching on him, that now he lost a good friend because of me and that my husband told others about him, how their other mutual friends don't like him anymore''.

Why is he so upset with me? He insulted me and is upset. He's blaming me for losing a friendship with my husband. I only told the truth because I wouldn't like it if one of my friends did that. I would expect my husband to tell me immediately too.

My husband saw his message too. I forwarded that to him too. He's going to block him now.

I hate cheaters, never understand the idea of that and if I made serious commitment it's all the way. I found it so insulting that he even thought he could get away with asking me out on a date in secret.

That guy isn't really your husband's friend and he seems upset that you wouldn't cheat and he got caught.

Hopefully he leaves you alone now.

yeah I hate cheaters. Vows aren't a joking manner and I'm disgusted that he had the nerve to ask me for a date behind my husband's back. He has blocked him too.

I think you definitely did the right thing and that guy just doesn't want to be accountable for his actions.
I'm not gonna act like I've never been attracted to another man's wife before (I legitimately told one of my friends not to bring me to his house anymore because I'm arttracted to his wife), lol, but the way your husband's ex-friend was acting was pretty sleezy and very disrespectful. Then to blame everyone but himself was really bad.

Yes he was a backstabber for a ''friend''. It's so unbelievable how some people can pretend to be your friend, pretend to care about you while smiling whenever they want to betray you.
If it had been another woman (instead of me) with loose morals, she would've gone for it and it would've turned into an affair. It's been 9 months since that incident and they haven't spoken to each other.

My mind fills with disgust and fury that he had the nerve to ask me out for a date and go on behind my husband's back like it means nothing. Very few people with morals nowadays.

If this were my wife amd a friend did that, he would be dead - presuming my wife doesn't use her superpower of empathy to make him regret every decision he ever made in life.
