YouTuber would be something I might be proud of. Why isn't musician on the list? That's a patience tester as well
A musician isn't necessarily something vapid, and useless to society, with an extremely low rate of success to it. Actor or actress, *maybe*, but that's still more of a legitimate career than Twitch Streamer or "content creator."
What kind of musician are you talking about? Classical musicians are the ones who can make bank, usually. I pretty much paid my way through undergrad by teaching flute lessons and playing weddings on weekends and throughout summer breaks. My husband did even better as a pianist, because pianists are in high demand. If you make it as a regular, full time musician in big orchestras, you can easily start at 100K a year. If you’re a violinist and you’re promoted to concertmaster, that salary is at least tripled. Principals of a section can make 200K. Even smaller, regional orchestras pay well.
But you can make a pretty comfortable living just by teaching, tutoring in music theory, and playing events like weddings, funerals, dances, etc.
Once they are out of the house, I couldn't care less what they do. I might not be all that proud of them depending on what they do it wouldn't be as likely to involve me.

That would mean that I failed as a father and I would blame myself more than I would be angry with them.
I would try to correct my mistake, but at some point they would have to their own adult, so I wouldn't be able to "stop them from doing it" if that's what they wanted to do.
Kids need to be told no more. We’ve had two generations of children raised without any discipline and it shows.
I could care less what my kids do when they grow up. None of these jobs would bother me.
I would relentlessly make fun of their lame career choice.
I wouldn't consider any of it stupid. It's their life, and as a parent they'd have my support no matter what. If they come to regret it later, that's just life. It's never too late to start over.
This is one of those questions that makes me glad that I was born with CBAVD.
Basically meaning, you can't have kids.

Yeah it is. I LOVE video games, but imagine being 40 and trying to tell your 6 year old what you do for a living and how it helps society. "Well, you see Jimmy, I make Minecraft videos and Let's Plays on the internet. Pretty cool, huh?"

Gaming doesn't make you money, though... Almost nobody can be "Ninja" or Pwdiepie.
Kosdff paid, faze members paid nobody cares about being pewdipie or ninja lol its about making millions. Faze Banks is rich. AMP guys rich. Tons of these people are rich off games and posting gaming videos even cod marksman youtuber. You don't gotr be a hit gamer to make money. Mr Technical difficult built a business off gaming and got rich lol what you Mean?
Even a youtuber named Iron he started out making cod videos for warzone, he became top player now he's rich, Daisymichelle a girl gamer she started on her living room floor while her husband was at work playing games, she's rich now lol I van list 100's of youtubers rich off gaming.

Lol I'm not gonna play games I'm not that good only In COD but I barely touch that. My focus is my career & other stuff I'm venturing into out here. Ain't nada wrong with being a youtuber if you invest into ventures outside of it. If it's positive & it pays theirs no issue. Life should be about trying to get rich not just being content on being a regular.

And I disagree with you. Life should be about trying to be happy. I rarely told this to anyone on here, but I used to *be* rich. From my distant criminal father. I know what it's like to have seven figures. You guys VASTLY overestimate what money means. Money is nothing if you're miserable in life. Look at successful people like Curt Cobain and Robin Williams.
Idc about nobody with a mental illness & weak minded souls. I know what to do with the money & the riches. If I ever get it it's small minded to wanna be happy with no money lol fuck that noise bro. I was poor most of my life. Then one year, I had a lot of money from my father, before the IRS took everything he had and everything he gave me. Then I went back to being poor. So I know money doesn't buy happiness.
What are you gonna do when you have all the money in the world, then? If happiness doesn't matter to you?
Build an empire of a strong blood line of riches like the 1% my family tree will never be broke again. I broke all generational curses. Also when your young I would not expect you to know what to do with everything your dad got you as a kid at one point. But from what you stated you always had a roof over your head & stay content on a living situation. That for me growing up was never a guarantee. I never felt secure living anywhere & that life will be something nobody else in the future of my blood line will never continue.
Therefore idc about having happiness like that lol I care about the federal reserve notes & dead presidents & when it's all said and done I created something that will be passed down for generations they will call me old money, that's my goal lol
