I'm a 13 year old girl and my uncle always does things like say "you've gotten very hot" or hug me (from the back) and make me uncomfortable. And this morning we both woke up early so I thought, why not just hang out with him since I'm bored. That's when he started touching my ears and saying they're so cute (?) And asking me how much I love him.

I don't want to tell my dad so that I don't ruin his sibling relationship with my uncle, and my mom's traveling. She's coming back later today but I don't know if I should tell my dad or grandpa in the meantime..

Hugging would've just been fine if you're ok with it but saying you're hot and if you claim he's doing it inappropriately, that's crossing the line. Just don't resist and try to back him off whenever he touches you like that. It's your rights so you don't have to worry about your dad and brother breaking their friendship. It's not his rights to just do that to you.

Might be best to tell gramps about it. He could probably reel him in a bit without raising a big stink in the family. Just tell him you don't want to stir shit within the family but, at the same time, you don't like the things your uncle is doing to/with you.

You should tell which parent you think is most understanding first, like your mother could talk about it with your father or the other way round. It is a difficult situation to be in, but you should distance yourself from your uncle and do is visibly in front of your father to give him a chance to approach you about your behaviour.
