Grandparents do not have a "blood right" to be in their grandkids lives: agree or disagree?

While I do think that parents have a right to a chance to raise their own kids, cause they made them. I don't think that extends to grandkids, because they did not make those. Those are just their kids'. Hopefully the kids want their parents in the grandkids life, but it is not an obligation.

Makes sense but the grandparents are an asset to the child as GP are the only source of unconditional love a child has. Your are depriving the child of Developmental skill acquisition. It’s about the child benefitting from all the mistakes the grandparents learned raising their own kids.
It is the first secondary relationship they will form UNLESS you want that to be done “who knows what kind of peer” in public schools…. To keep a young child from their grand and /or great grand parents is to do them a disservice emotionally, historically (lineage), and relationally.

If a parent doesn't want the kids grandparents involved that doesn't mean they can't have any older relatives or just older people in the kids life. I agree it is a wonderful thing to have grandparents in ur life and it sucks to not have that. Sometimes there is no good option tho
