I told my close friend that I needed space from our friendship and she never responded?

I think the reason I wanted space is bc I don’t like the closeness. I don’t know if it’s the “closeness” or if she might actually have some attraction towards me. I feel stupid for thinking it and I don’t want to feel stupid … but sometimes I think it is a bit.

we’ve known eachother for years but we’ve been talking more for a couple years. I just notice some changes in the friendship now

But it was a very good friendship but I felt like she was a bit attracted to me. I felt the friendship change a bit these last few months

I did read it but what ubstated is what u felt not what she felt you are assuming she is attracted to you not something u confirmed so run both situations if she is attracted pulling away won't help the friendship it will just confirm u had a issue with how she felt and she will resent that if she was not attracted to you she will see that as u pulling away because of some issue u have with her again damaging the friendship

I think there’s numerous factors. I felt like she was starting to be subtly clingy, complimented me a lot more , says “love you” “I love you” more than usual. Acted a lot like my mom (which isn’t a problem but sometimes it was annoying)

I think I’m going through mental health issues and just want to distance myself from everyone.

I was really upset with her last year for talking to my stepmom about stuff we talked about. I told her that I didn’t trust her im and I don’t care for her. I really wish she wouldn’t have did that. She also has a big mouth but I forgave her.. but I’m wondering if I befriended her out of loneliness.

It’s just I don't know but I still don’t regret asking for space

She has joked about me “eating her pussy” as a joke but I felt uncomfortable … and I confronted her about it when she said it a third time. She apologized and said she jokes like that with her friends

One time I sent a fuck you gif and she said I don’t want to fuck you. (Okay that’s a joke I get it) .. but I felt like she kept kind of talking about the Fuck you joke and she I just stopped texting and she said “don’t get quiet on me now shorty” then I text “this is weird lol) … then she was like “you tried it” which means you’re cray

Then I thought it was weird when she asked if we want to share a bed or have separate beds on vacation.

But I don't know maybe it’s just me

I remember when the convo got dry and she called me… and she joked “dont you not text me back”

I don't know I just felt she was slowly becoming more clingy than usual.
