If you found out your loving parents adopted you, would you still get upset?

I was just watching a video of an ungrateful young man that gets all upset, overreacts, insults them, walks away and starts drinking.

This might sound rude but honestly, I imagine slapping the hell out of that ungrateful brat at the very moment of getting blatantly disrespected. This would be my answer to that ungrateful brat:

''How dare you, I fed you, I was there when you were sick, reading your bedtime stories, taking you to school, providing you love, gave you an education and you're telling me I'm not your parent and a liar just because I don't share your blood, you realize many kids are dying and starving without any parent at all, how dare you talk to me in that manner''.

If I found out I was adopted, I would still feel grateful to have a loving parents, a loving family. If they provided you a roof over your head, fed you, love, shelter, etc then that overreaction and ''I'm not speaking you, you're not my parents, don't talk to me'' is of someone ungrateful who doesn't know the meaning of love and family.

The experience won't be the same for everyone. But you have to understand, even if someone was raised by loving adoptive parents, finding out you're actually not related to them can be one of the biggest shocks you'll ever get. You can experience a sudden sense of distance between you and your family, and feel disconnected and alienated from them entirely for a while.
Security is one of the main things we all seek throughout our entire lives, and if you find out the core of your life has been a lie, that security can for some be completely destroyed. It may also feel like a personal betrayal.
If this happened, the helpful thing to do is give them space, and assure them you are their parents and that your love is the same and won't change. Give them the time they need to come to terms with it. Don't get angry and treat them as though they're ungrateful. That's a surefire way to crush your relationship.

I guess but if it was me, I would be more than grateful to have been given love and shelter. I would be thanking my lucky stars to have a family. I wouldn't be having that ''You're not my parents, don't talk to me'' childish reaction esp if I'm already an adult.

You're you, though, and haven't actually been in the situation, so you can't know for certain anyway. As I said, different people will have different reactions, the reasons for which I stated. Shock, alienation, betrayal. They are valid. That doesn't mean you have to tolerate the cold shoulder for a year afterward, but you do need to try and see it from their perspective.
I love my mom, and I don't think I'd run away and start drinking if I found out I wasn't blood-related to her, but I know I would be extremely rattled, betrayed, and feel like there was a wall between us, like I don't belong in my family anymore.

I might have been shocked. But I definitely would never react like that fool. They provided everything for you. And he acts like a huge baby? I guess he was a rocking time bomb for a long time.

Exactly. That's the reaction of someone ungrateful. Meanwhile there are several starving and homeless children in the world that wish they had a loving family.

I was adopted as an infant and was told at about age 2 when I could understand it. Google "Adoption Trauma" and you will have a better understanding of what happens to us.
