I dated a gal 10 years younger, at 29, she was 19. A couple times she seemed distracted, and wanted to take a break so she could date guys closer to her age. After these younger guys took advantage of her, she'd seek me out, we'd start dating again. This went on for 4 years, with two breakups, before she finally came to the conclusion, that younger guys are more likely to be players, where older guys are more mature, long term oriented, and more experienced.
I would probably be mad. I don’t tell younger women my exact age right away because I don’t want them to get ideas that we have a generation gap, and that it would give them a reason to dismiss dating me. If they asked how old I was I’d say, “Old enough that a professor wrote on one of my papers, ‘I think your worldview is too colored by The Cold War.” They’ll sometimes laugh at that response.
Of course I would be upset they lied to me. About something so easy to be honest with. How could I go forward knowing they’re so comfortable lying to me

I would be a bit pissed off because they lied. I think 5 years I might be fooled but 10?
Oh i'd be more than upset. That would be the end of the relationship. A relationship built on a foundation of lies is a house of cards trying to support a heavy boulder.
i'd also be so confused. if she's 10 years older, why is she lying like she's still 15? huge nope. i would vanish through the green hedge faster than homer simpson trying to get away from flanders.
If they told me early I’d probably laugh at them and tell them not to waste my time. If they didn’t tell me early I’d figure it out on my own, not tell them, and then just fuck with their head a lot...
Well the dishonesty would bother me but if i cared enough about them it wouldn't bother me to much. Im 28 and have dated women 45 years old before. Did so when i was 24 lol. Im not ready for kids just yet so that's not really an issue for me lol.

That's a really dumb thing to lie about. If you think I wouldn't date you because of your age, lying about it just makes the problem worse because of the dishonesty. There's little point in being with someone who will lie like that.

Hmm would only bother me if it was a woman trying to hide that she's out of her fertile age. Otherwise its pretty much nothing but a number.
I would be dump her over the deception. I would not care about the age.
