How do my bestie and I meet more women friends?

We’ve tried the bar scene and it’s not us. Or partying and drinking. I’d rather be tucked away at home in my pyjamas with a good book and pizza than going to those things in a formal outfit. We’re both women with Asperger’s and we’d like to meet more women with Asperger’s. I find at a lot of the activities in rooms that they’re full of more severe, distant women and intellectuals and those who think they are dominating the conversation for 3 hours. The more fun activities, a lot of the women won’t attend. So it’s just us with the guys.

Try meeting people at large events like they have on meetup. They are sorted on hobbies and activities that people share. I am sure you will meet someone at www.meetup.com as it is very social website.

So we just need to act more masculine? Talk about cars and other traditionally masculine things?

Yeah but you may "gross them out" and they may be offended by it. Then they will avoid and it is unlikely that they ever let you in their friend group. It is also likely that you will be perceived as lesbians if that matters to you.

Lesbians? I’m bisexual with a preference for men and she’s straight. Whatever works.

Mr. Right is not gonna come a knocking on your door, so focus on getting out more and thinking outside the box.
