Lmao yes! It went on until I was about 14 🤦‍♀️. Before entering the restaurant, my mom would say: “You are not 14, you’re 12. If you pretend to be 12, I will buy you ice cream later.” My stupid ass went on with it, lol. They actually believed that I was 12 though 😂

My father used to do this all the time. We had a house on an island and the ferry gave a discount for kids under 5. My father said that my brother and me were under 5 right up until the time we were 15. I can still remember my father arguing with the guy that worked on the boat and my brother and me were scrunched down in the back seat and the guy told my father that there was no was we were under 5.
