Sort of, but not really. My mom would get me quick, easy meals: cereal, poptarts, toast, and voila: breakfast! She was too busy making sure I was dressed and ready, not to mention packed my lunch (up until like 5th or 6th grade) to worry about if I was fed or not, lol.
She really only cooked for me on the weekends when I was out of school, though it was still rare when she did so. But when she did cook? Y'all: it was so good! Grits, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, sausage... I miss those days. Definitely not healthy, but good, filling meals.
Breakfast was a weekend thing only. I maybe had 1 friend who are breakfast before school. We also did not have "snack time". We ate at lunch, a snack when we got home, and dinner. We also played outside before, during, and after school.
When I was younger I always ate at home. After a while I would eat at home but I also ate at school since I also could hangout with more people I wanted to and stuff like that in the mornings and I was still hungry and my parents did not mind.
When I was older I either made myself breakfast or ate at school or both
My parents never interacted with us like that, the cook or the housekeeper was the one to ensure we had breakfast before school. When I went to secondary school, I boarded from Monday to Friday so had breakfast at school.

🤣🤣 there was no such thing as breakfast. I still can’t eat before evening bc that’s how I grew up eating (after age 7 bc I was still living with a human being then) I’d eat At a neighbors when I was young and at work when I was older.
I remember mom cooking for us before she passed. Dad was always out the door earlier than the rest of us for work, so he rarely did. My older brothers were usually tasked with making sure we ate something and were ready in time for the bus. Cereal, granola, frozen waffles...
My school had it, but I never really ate breakfast back then. Parents wouldn't make it nor sign up for any free or reduced cost meal prices, and I couldn't afford $2 a day to eat normal school food when I had no income.
Elementary school yes course I was homeschooled, went to private school in 6th (which the school considered middle school). And my mom would just give me money for breakfast or my dad would take me to McDonald’s
It was wonderful because I felt loved that my parents could do that for me. Looking back, it's sad because I wish I could have learned more about cooking so I can for them and others.
No one ever made anything for me, but my mom always made sure I ate lol. My school had breakfast one day a week ($4-6 in cash though) but I never came early enough (also had no money)
My mother always had fresh fruit juice, cereal and perhaps toast with honey ready for my breakfast every day.

My mom did made breakfast for me. But nowadays they serve breakfast in school too so I eat from there or skip it.
