My best friend is saying she wanted to sue a man whose dog bit her daughter. The story as I was told was that her daughter ran towards the dog and grabbed his nose hard and the dog bit her. Another friend said that even though it’s unfortunate it’s not right to sue because the girl shouldn’t have done that. My friend seemed mad that she was told that it was her daughters fault but she never denies it. I haven’t told her that I agree with him. If I admit to it she might drop things

If she is your friend you should be able to talk openly about things. However, no attorney would likely agree to take on this case. Besides what would she sue for? It could end up costing that dogs life. Here in the US in the Mid-Atlantic States once a dog has bitten someone the owner almost always ends up voluntarily relinquishing the dog to be euthanized. The reason being people lose their homeowner's insurance and the local government requires such high and I mean high amounts of liability insurance to be taken out to the tune of $100K that the owner can not afford. So by all means express this to your friend because you just might save the life of that dog.
I would say something, but than knowing how easy it is to sue this days. She will likely still probably sue and go on to win
